The Core Transformer is the next evolution of FUNctional core movement for both group exercise and personal training. Why? Because true functional core movement is performed moving through standing trunk (standing core) extension followed by standing trunk flexion. The upward facing trunk flexion or an “abs crunch”, while it has a handful of applications, is not functional. In real life, especially in elite and professional sports, you must quickly perform trunk flexion, such as catching a pass, blocking or tackling, etc. In other words, multi-planer movement in every dimension of space requires progressive strength or resistance from your body. So doesn’t it make sense to train your body as we move naturally and organically in real life?

This course will teach you the three principles of true, 3-dimensional training that makes the Core Transformer the premier core workout guaranteed to engage a whopping 622% greater core muscle recruitment than most standard ab crunches. Plus, this workout torches up to an incredible 1,000 calories per hour, because it engages maximum muscle recruitment and amplitude or intensity with minimum blunt jarring to your joints (unlike other High Intensity Interval (HIIT) workouts).

During this 8-hour course, we will:

    
Introduce a fun, innovative and highly effective approach to 3-Dimensional Core Performance high intensity interval training (HIIT) in one workout.
    
Provide a specific format/methodology that is easy to follow, straightforward to teach, and reflects the philosophies and foundation of Core Transformer training for the instructor including understanding the principles of 3-Dimensional Training.
    
Provide a specific format/methodology that is easy to follow, straightforward to teach, and reflects the philosophies and foundation of Core Transformer training for the instructor including understanding the principles of 3-Dimensional Training.
    
Activate Anatomical Body Slings to create Targeted, Constant, 3-Dimensional Resistance Training.
    
Understand eccentric and concentric Core (Spinal) loading using the CT in the frontal and posterior planes.
    
Create 360° workload in the anterior and posterior plane.
    
Provide a basic understanding and application of physiology, biomechanics and anatomy principles, including anatomical body slings as it pertains to high intensity core performance training and all the key elements that correlate to the Core Transformer System.
    
Provide a basic understanding of injury cause and prevention in a combined, multi-discipline format based on optimal 360° core performance. Training methodology will incorporate constant, 3-dimensional resistance, progressive, low impact plyometrics and progressive balance challenges.
    
Cover the importance and relationship between movement and music, integral to teaching an effective Core Transformer workout.
    
Familiarize and learn basic 360° core performance/sport conditioning activities, which are applicable to all populations.
    
Cue a Core Transformer Group Class or single client in two different formats: Standing Total Body Core and Mat Fusion.
    
Design group Core Transformer workouts to fit your own unique teaching style.
